Twenty-eight years ago today, Ghostbusters opened in theaters and became an instant classic. ET was front and center at the film's Hollywood premiere on opening day, with Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Rick Moranis in attendance. Watch the vintage footage to find out if the stars believe in ghosts!

The stars in attendance at the Ghostbusters premiere is an incredible snapshot of the early '80s, with guests that included Sylvester Stallone, Richard Pryor, Margot Kidder, Emilio Estevez, Beverly D'Angelo, Shelly Long, Rob Lowe with girlfriend Melissa Gilbert, Peter Falk, Fran Drescher and Aykroyd's wife Donna Dixon.
