Magic Mike's Channing Tatum has come to embrace his stripper past, but it appears there's still one person in the Tatum clan who isn't too keen about the actor's risqué career startup.

At the Los Angeles premiere of Tatum's sexy new flick, ET's Christina McLarty caught up with the film's star, whose R-rated past inspired the big-screen adaptation. Tatum made a family night of the affair, arriving with his lovely wife Jenna Dewan, and the rest of his kin, including his father, who he says is still trying to get over his son's brief turn as an exotic dancer.

"Ask my dad if it was a good past to have," said Tatum with a knowing look when questioned about his dad's thoughts on the matter. In fact, the star reveals his old man almost didn't make it out to the night's premiere out of embarrassment.

On the other hand, Matthew McConaughey appeared to harbor no shame in reaping the benefits of his seductive, new skill as he showed off the mass of loot he collected over various press junkets in the past few days.

"You know how much we made yesterday?" he beamed. "$168.00!"

And that's not all. McConaughey tells us that he also walked away with "one necklace, two pairs of earrings, five sterling and two yen."

Not bad!
