"I'll be at the Teen Choice Awards this year -- it's actually on my birthday," says the actress/music superstar, who turns 20 on July 22. "I'm going to go to dinner with my family; some of my grandparents are coming in from Texas, so it'll just be nice family time."

In Hotel Transylvania, Selena plays Mavis, the daughter of Dracula (voiced by Adam Sandler). On her 118th birthday, she's ready to leave Transylvania and see the world, but her overprotective father is having a tough time cutting the cord with his pride and joy…

"It's a sweet message on the father-daughter relationship," explains Selena, who had several visits from Adam while recording her part. "Adam is awesome. ... He was super nice, very supportive, really funny in the movie too."

Hotel Transylvania arrives in theaters September 28.
