Friends and fellow artists Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Carly Rae Jepsen were just a few of the big names to hit the bright pink carpet at Mann's Chinese theater on Tuesday night in support of Perry.

Decked in a stunning, vintage Dolce & Gabbana number, the 27-year-old singer told ETonline she felt it fit to channel old Hollywood glamour for the event, which shut down multiple city blocks along Hollywood Blvd.

The corseted gown was paired with her signature purple locks and crimson lips, carefully chosen for the greatest effect as Perry says she may never get the opportunity again.

"It feels very original—authentic," explained Perry of the dress. "I dont know if I'll ever have another movie premiere again."

Later in the evening, Perry ditched her glam outfit for a playful, skin-tight body suit to perform a surprise concert for the thousands of fans gathered along the streets.
