THE HOBBIT, Production Video #8, Last Days, 23 July 2012 shows Jackson uniting with such Lord of the Rings stars as Ian Mckellen, Andy Serkis and Elijah Wood alongside new Hobbit Martin Freeman to present footage to die-hard Comic-Con fans.

The extended behind-the-scenes look chronicles the final days of shooting the movie and features footage with Serkis (who plays Gollum) directing second unit action with Orlando Bloom (and crew members sporting "Andy's Flying Serkis" T-shirts); the film's incredible, detailed sets; oversized props; the camaraderie and sense of family on the set; plus a few practical jokes: "What happens in The Hobbit stays in The Hobbit," quips one crew member.
