First Look: 'Skyfall' Cast Strikes a Pose

"We had to see parts of London we hadn't seen before, and also use the iconography, probably more so than … in most movies, because Bond opens a few doors," says Daniel Craig, who portrays Bond for the third time in Skyfall. "[Director Sam Mendes] and I wanted to make it British, and it's not some flag-waving thing that either one of us is interested in. It's just about basing Bond in Britain, and it's very exciting just to get out on the streets and show London for what it is."

The production got to use Whitehall, Vauxhall, Smithfield Market as locations and even close down a few tube stations for the film, making Bond's home look just as beautiful as it can be dark and sinister.
