Pulling in $13.5 million, The Expendables 2 kept The Bourne Legacy at bay. The latest Bourne flick reeled in $9.2 million.

The animated film, ParaNorman scared up $8.5 million against The Campaign's $7.4 million, and The Dark Knight Rises landed in fifth place with $7.1 million, as no new releases were able to crack the top five.
