The Bond series hit its first true high in 1964 with the release of Goldfinger starring Sean Connery. Cementing the formula of girls, gadgets and guns, the poster said it all: "James Bond is back in action! Everything he touches turns to excitement!" After this film, every man wanted to be Bond.
