In theaters Christmas Day, The Guilt Trip casts Rogen as a young inventor who invites his mother to join him on the road to sell his organic cleaning product to marketing outlets. But each of them has an ulterior motive: He plans on reuniting his mother with a former flame, while she plans on forcing him to get over his phobia of commitment in relationships.

Directed by Anne Fletcher (The Proposal), the film also stars Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation), Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck) and Danny Pudi (Community).
