Seth MacFarlane is best known for creating FOX's animated hit Family Guy, but his directorial debut of Mark Wahlberg's comedy Ted this year also established his film-making credentials. In this clip from the Sundance Channel's series Iconoclasts, Seth opens up about his career and reveals why he tapped singer/actress Norah Jones to appear in Ted.

"I think Seth is someone who does what he believes in and doesn't want to be boxed in," explained Norah, who had a cameo in Ted and also sang Everybody Needs A Best Friend on the film's soundtrack.

For his part, Seth said he's admired Norah's work for years and couldn't wait to work with her. "There's a handful of people that I've run into in my career that I just kind of want to keep working with over and over again, and Norah is one of those people. She can do everything."
