Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris steam up the screen opposite Daniel Craig in the new James Bond film Skyfall, in theaters and IMAX November 9, and they tell ET that being called a "Bond Girl" is not old-fashioned, but an honor.

"When I think about a Bond Girl, I immediately think about a mix between a female, a male and an animal – something dangerous and instinctive," Berenice tells ET’s Christina McLarty. The French model and actress plays the mysterious, seductive character Severine.

Naomie, who plays the field agent Eve, says, "I don't know if I would say like there's much of the traditional Bond Girl that I'd associate with the character of Eve, but any woman in a Bond movie is called a Bond Girl and I quite like the title, so I'm sticking with it."

Not all Bond Girls are pleased to be associated with the moniker, however. While promoting Taken 2, former GoldenEye star Famke Janssen expressed her displeasure, telling Moviefone, "It's such a demeaning, silly title to give somebody. And it's definitely something that, as a woman, I have to deal with. People constantly want to remind me or an audience that I was a model or that I was a superhero or that I was a Bond girl. … I seem to have those things attached to my name regardless of what I do or how far away from it I am. But that's okay."

Skyfall finds Daniel Craig returning for his third outing as Bond, with the double agent's loyalty to M (Judi Dench) tested when her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
