The bone claws are back! In this new image from The Wolverine, Hugh Jackman once again sports his bare-bone – literally – claws that were first featured in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Of course, comic book and movie geeks know that Wolverine's mutant claws were later covered in adamantium in a military experiment that ultimately led him into the fold of The X-Men.
Slicing into theaters July 26, 2013, The Wolverine finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.

For those not in the know, the film's storyline is inspired by the celebrated Japanese story arc featuring the Silver Samurai that's taken from the 1982 Wolverine comic book.
