It's high-flying, web-slinging action in Blu-ray 3D as Andrew Garfield takes on the role of high schooler Peter Parker, who like most teens is just trying to figure out just who he is and how to move forward with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). When Peter's quest to understand his parents' disappearance leads him to the Oscorp lab of his father's former partner, Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans), the newly minted Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' deadly alter-ego, The Lizard. Directed by (500) Days of Summer director Marc Webb, The Amazing Spider-Man also stars Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Denis Leary, Embeth Davitz and Campbell Scott. Also included in the Blu-ray is a very cool second-screen app with multiple interactive features.
