Who knew that Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga would become such a huge box-office phenomenon? Now that the five-film franchise is coming to a climactic conclusion, the best-selling author reveals if there will be more in the future for Edward and Bella!

"I definitely left the crack [in the door open] there," Stephenie tells our Nancy O'Dell. "I know the stories. I know where it goes."

So, when will legions of Twi-hards get to read – and see – the continuing adventures of the sparkling, star-crossed vampire lovers?

"I'm not, at this point in my life, ready to spend more time with vampires – there's a lot of other things that I want to do," says the 38-year-old Stephenie, whose post-Twilight sci-fi romance The Host deals with parasitic aliens. "Someday, maybe. It might just be, like, right before I kick it I'll tell everybody what happens."

But don't fret that Edward and Bella's journey is in jeopardy of being lost forever if Stephenie "kicks it."

"I won't have it die with me – I'll at least write it down for somebody," Stephenie says with a laugh.
