The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II gives us one last look at Robert Pattinson in the role of Edward Cullen, and the actor tells TODAY co-host Savannah Guthrie that he's just as upset as the Twi-hards that the series is coming to an end.

"It's the end of my youth. It's a slow death from now on," Pattinson, 26, joked about the final film in the Twilight franchise. "It's going very, very anxiety-ridden, and nothing makes sense anymore."

The actor adds that he sees leaving the films like he's graduating college. "I need to get a real job," he said with a laugh. "It's like a bond, I hope. I'd like to stay in contact with [my co-stars]."

Pattinson did drop a bit of a spoiler during the interview, revealing that the final film does deviate from the books. "I hope they don't stone us for it," he quips about the movie's avid fans.

The actor's on-screen wife Kristen Stewart, 22, was on Tuesday's TODAY and dodged questions that she was back with her co-star. Pattinson did the same, telling Guthrie, "I want to ask, because we get asked that all the time. It's like, 'Who is actually asking?' Is it in your contract?"
