Chewing gum, relaxed and a bit punchy at times, Craig sports a leather jacket on the immense subterranean set of the film's climactic finale, describing his character of questionable ethics. "I'm a tomb raider, but I'm not Lara Croft," he says with a smirk. "And maybe I'm in it for all the wrong reasons. Possibly I'm in it just for the money."

Craig jokes around about the pressures of being involved such a mega-budget production -- blissfully unaware that in just five more years he'd be shouldering exponentially more responsibility as the new "blonde Bond" of Casino Royale.

When ET's Mark Steines suggests that his role opposite Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider could catapult him to the next level of stardom in Hollywood, Craig modestly shrugs it off, saying, "We have an expression in English, it's called 'tomorrow's chip paper' – basically they wrap French fries in newspaper here, so what they say and what happens is always a different thing."
