Beatnik author Jack Kerouac's acclaimed novel On the Road comes to life on the big screen Dec. 21, and in the final trailer for the highly anticipated film we see Twilight leading lady Kristen Stewart in some compromising positions.

Taking on the role of Dean Moriarty's wife Marylou, the trailer shows KStew sharing quite a few kisses with her co-stars Garett Hedlund (Dean) and Sam Riley (Sal Paradise). Hedlund, Riley and Kirsten Dunst, who plays another love interest to Dean, also boast stand-out performances in the film as they maneuver through an array of emotional situations.

If you're unfamiliar with On the Road, the novel is based on Kerouac's real-life adventures with his friend Neal Cassady, who the author is said to have modeled Dean after. The book and movie follow the guys as they travel across the country, meeting a mix of "mad" people who each impact their journey.

After watching the trailer, what's your review of the film? Will it do the book justice?
