Matt Damon Jokes About John Krasinski's 'Eulogy'
November 27, 2012
At age 42, Matt Damon said it felt "weird" receiving a career achievement award from presenter John Krasinski last night and said John even joked about turning the award into a posthumous tribute.
"John was actually going to eulogize me tonight," the Contagion star told us on the red carpet at The Independent Film Project's 22nd Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York last night. "But then he showed up," John added. When The Office star suggests he's going to pull out all the stops for the award presentation, Matt said to bring it one because he's fine with being embarrassed.
John also addresses the finale season of The Office and promises that fans won't be disappointed with the way the series ends.
Also stopping by the red carpet was Amy Adams, who dished on playing the role of Lois Lane in next year's highly anticipated superman flick Man of Steel. "I'm excited to see it," said Amy about a trailer for the film coming out next month. "I have yet to see the film and I had such a great time shooting it -- Henry's just amazing and dreamy, and just so Superman. So I'm just very excited to see it as well."
