The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey travels into theaters and IMAX next week, and the men who played the film's wily band of Dwarves exclusively revealed to ET that they made a private, naughty calendar as a joke for director Peter Jackson!

It all started at the big Hobbit premiere in Wellington, NZ, when Aidan Turner, who plays Kili, deflected a compliment from ET's Debbie Matenopoulos that he was "the hot Dwarf" by revealing the existence of the special project: "We did a Dwarf calendar – we gave it to Peter on his birthday and we posed as naked Dwarves with our fat suits on! Nobody knows that. Where can you get one? You can't. There was one made for Peter Jackson and that's it -- I hope that's it. Imagine if it came out. I'd be so embarrassed!"
"Just imagine fat suit, high heels, blonde wig, Marilyn Monroe," confirms Mark Hadlow, who plays Dori, from the film's now-famous Hobbiton location.
John Callen, who plays Oin, interjects, "With just our faces and various parts of our anatomy covered by large pieces of fruit. … I wanted to be November, but I was October. "

"It was for Peter's 50th birthday," explains Graham McTavish, who plays Dwalin. "I came up with the idea that there should be like a Sports Illustrated [swimsuit issue] – it was Dwarves Illustrated 2012 -- and so we were in our fat suits and muscle suits. We had to keep it super-secret so people wouldn't know about it."
"Very, very sexy," says Stephen Hunter, who plays Bombur. "Really, it's Middle-earth's Victoria's Secret calendar. I was January. I mean, after that it went downhill…"
"Listen, there are images in there that you don't want to see," jokes McTavish. "Think Sound of Music in a bra. It's hilarious. It's lovely."
