I'm starting to think all those paparazzi photos of Mark Wahlberg and The Rock filming Pain and Gain did not do Michael Bay's movie any justice, as there's a lot more here than meets the eye.

PHOTOS - Teen Stars Who Only Get Hotter

The men star in the true story of two bodybuilders who get caught in an extortion and kidnapping scheme that goes horribly awry. While there's clearly a lot of comedy to be mined from that scenario, I was pleasantly surprised to see how much of the movie is played straight.

And seeing as this is a Michael Bay film, slick visuals, scantily clad women, eye-popping action and gorgeous locations abound. Watch!
