A rep for Ben Affleck confirms to ET that the Oscar winner has dropped out of the upcoming film Focus, starring Kristen Stewart.

This decision was reportedly made due to scheduling issues, as the actor/writer/director/producer is engaged in award-season promoting for Argo in addition to making Live By Night and developing The Stand and the untitled Whitey Bulger project.

Focus follows two grifters -- one well-versed in the life, the other inexperienced -- who join forces.

According to Variety, Warner Bros. is now working to replace Affleck in time to meet their original April opening.
