From executive producer Steven Spielberg comes this highly entertaining, compelling tale of the inner-workings of a Broadway show, from the heated rivalry between up-and-coming starlets and the stress of a writing team in need of a new hit to a Broadway producer finding her own way. Chronicling the production of a Broadway musical based on the life of Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe, the potent fusion of music, dance and storytelling stars Debra Messing, Anjelica Huston, Megan Hilty and American Idol star Katharine McPhee. Guest stars include Uma Thurman, Nick Jonas and Broadway legend Bernadette Peters.
