The highly anticipated follow-up to True Grit is said to be loosely based on Dave Van Ronk's memoir The Mayor of MacDougal Street and chronicles aimless folk singer Davis looking for love, purpose and a modicum of success.

The film is populated by Coen Bros. mainstay John Goodman (sporting yet another great look) as well as Justin Timberlake, Garrett Hedlund, Girls stars Alex Karpovsky and Adam Driver and F. Murray Abraham.
