Spotlight on Jennifer Lawrence

At the tender young age of 22 Jennifer Lawrence already has two Oscar nominations under her belt, as well as the starring role in the blockbuster franchise, The Hunger Games, which is already giving Twilight a run for its money. We're shining the spotlight on the Silver Linings Playbook star's rise to the top.

Although Jennifer once appeared on a relatively unknown sitcom called The Bill Engvall Show, audiences really were introduced to her in 2010's Winter's Bone, where she played a young woman fighting desperate odds to sustain her family. She picked up an Oscar nomination for that role and the visibility no doubt contributed to her being cast as The Hunger Games' Katniss in 2011.

Jennifer has not only wowed fans with her dramatic skills, but also with her fashion sense, donning gowns made by everyone from Calvin Klein to Dior to Dolce & Gabbana on the red carpet.
