What He Brings to the Role: He made Magneto cool and held his own in Prometheus when everything in the film collapsed around him, plus he demonstrated that he can fight with the best of 'em in Haywire while having a sordid sexual side in Shame. A controversial choice for Han Solo to be sure, but undeniably an interesting one.
