Michael Cera Gets Creepy for 'Magic Magic'

Michael Cera's new role in the psychological thriller Magic Magic is a far cry from the usual quirky comedic characters we're used to seeing him portray. Also starring Emily Browning (Sleeping Beauty) and Juno Temple (Killer Joe), the latest trailer for the flick shows a fun South American trip gone very wrong ...and creepy.

The film, directed by Sebastian Silva (The Maid), takes place in remote Chile where a vacationing young woman (Temple) begins to mentally unravel while her friends ignore her claim-- until it's too late. This breakdown leads to some weird scenes with Cera's also unstable character Brink.

Magic Magic hits theaters some time this year.

In other Cera news, it was announced that his cult classic show Arrested Development only has one more season. After being revived by Netflix, the company revealed that they will not be doing a follow-up season. "We don't anticipate being able to do Season 5, 6 and 7," Netflix CEO Reed Hastings told Deadline. "We have less of a stake in it. So it's really a fantastic one-off which is coming together incredibly."
