War of the Colossal Beast
By DAVID WEINER

This kitschy product of the '50s atomic scare was hilariously mocked on Mystery Science Theater 3000. The follow-up to The Amazing Colossal Man, 1958's War of the Colossal Beast finds the 60-foot tall Colossal Man -- brain damaged, insane and horribly disfigured -- discovered in a desolate mountain range in Mexico. Captured by the military, he of course escapes and wreaks havoc on the city, leading to an "electrifying" ending.
