The Oscar winner is here! A testament to the survival of the human spirit, this adaptation of the emotional hit musical follows Hugh Jackman as ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert (played by Russell Crowe), after he breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine's (newly minted Best Supporting Actress winner Hathaway) young daughter Cosette (played as an adult by Amanda Seyfried), their lives change forever. Directed by Academy Award winner Tom Hooper (The King's Speech), the film co-stars Eddie Redmayne, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen and Samantha Barks.
