'The Host' Star Max Irons on R Patz Comparisons

Max Irons is making his waves for his performance in the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's The Host, and given the Stephenie Meyers connection and his British roots, is the handsome 27-year-old the next Robert Pattinson?

"I can probably name 10 actors who've been compared to Robert Pattinson," Irons said at the film's Hollywood premiere. "So it's an honor -- I think he's doing very well for himself, he's got some amazing projects coming out -- so it's a bit of an honor, but I think everyone's an individual. But it's nice to be likened to him."

As for the notion that all up-and-coming British actors in Hollywood hang out together, he joked, "We do. England's a very small country. We all live together. We all know each other. We all know the Queen."

Though 50 Shades of Grey fans take note -- Irons' name has been thrown around the feverishly anticipated film adaptation of the steamy series to play none other than Christian Grey -- and he admitted that he's more than game!

"Jesus, rumors," he laughed. "Hey, I'm open to anything, let's go!"
