For 46 years, Roger Ebert and his discriminating thumbs educated and entertained millions of moviegoers.

The longtime Chicago Sun-Times film critic died at the age of 70 Thursday after suffering major health setbacks over the past decade, including battles with cancers of the thyroid and salivary gland.
