First Look: Matt Damon's Attack on 'Elysium'
Matt Damon and Jodie Foster show us what the world could look like in the year 2159 with their upcoming movie Elysium, and today we're showing you a first look at the summer action film.
Written and directed by District 9's Neill Blomkamp, Elysium finds the planet's wealthiest citizens on a manmade space station where there's no poverty, illness or war, while those on terra firma are left to deal with rampant crime and poverty.
When one man (Damon) attempts to infiltrate the orbiting luxury station to form equality between these two worlds, an anti-immigration official (Foster) is determined to stop him at all costs.
Elysium skyrockets into theaters August 9.
