Sandra Bullock Brings 'The Heat' to Boston
Bring on The Heat, Boston! Sandra Bullock hit the red carpet alongside her director Paul Feig to screen their new summer comedy for the Beantown production's cast and crew; the film shot there entirely on location last summer.
Although Melissa McCarthy was unfortunately unavailable to make it, Sandra and Paul felt it was important to hold the screening in Boston to show support for the city.

In theaters June 28, The Heat finds Sandra and Melissa turning the buddy cop genre on its head, casting Sandra as an uptight FBI Special Agent forced to team up with Melissa's foul-mouthed Boston cop to bring down a ruthless drug lord. As the stakes get higher, the incompatible pair becomes the last thing anyone expected: buddies.
