It has spoken... A backwoods community harbors a terrifying secret in the indie thriller Jug Face, and we have an exclusive first look at the first trailer for the film, in theaters August 9.

Lauren Ashley Carter, Sean Young, Sean Bridgers, Larry Fessenden and Daniel Manche star in this tale of a pregnant teen who must attempt to escape her town after she learns that she may be sacrificed to a mysterious pit, the lair of a supernatural entity that requires a life in exchange for keeping the community safe. When ignored, the entity unleashes evil onto the community.

The face of the person to be sacrificed is crafted onto a ceramic jug, and no one is safe as tragedy befalls each town member one by one as they come to realize that whatever the pit wants – it gets.
