Hanks Steps Into Disney's World For 'Mr. Banks'

After watching Tom Hanks play Walt Disney in the newly released Saving Mr. Banks trailer, you may find yourself asking: Will this role earn him another Oscar nomination?

Starring alongside an all-star cast including Emma Thompson, Paul Giamatti, Ruth Wilson, Rachel Griffiths, Bradley Whitford, BJ Novak, Jason Schwartzman and Colin Farrell, Hanks takes on the role of the Disney mogul as he attempts to adapt P.L. Travers' 1934 novel Mary Poppins into the classic 1964 film.

Thompson portrays the British novelist while The Blind Side's John Lee Hancock directs the film. The script was written by Kelly Marcel, who is currently adapting the highly anticipated 50 Shades of Grey book-turned-movie.
