Exclusive: Alexa Vega Trapped in 'Abandoned Mine'

Spy Kids star Alexa Vega is all grown up, and before she wows the crowd this October by reuniting with director Robert Rodriguez for Machete Kills (in a seriously va-va-voom! outfit), she's showing her acting chops in the indie horror thriller Abandoned Mine, and ETonline has an exclusive debut clip from the film!

In theaters August 15, Abandoned Mine follows Alexa's character Sharon and her four friends as they celebrate Halloween with an overnight adventure into a legendary "haunted" mine. Good idea, right? A local legend claims that angry spirits have occupied the mine ever since a family was mysteriously murdered exactly 100 years ago. With mini-cameras attached to their bodies to capture their every move, will a "harmless" dare turn into a real-life nightmare?

Written and directed by Jeff Chamberlain, Abandoned Mine also stars Reiley McClendon, Saige Thompson, Charan Prabhakar, Adam Hendershott and Valerie C. Walker.
