Exclusive: Duhamel Takes Acting 'Scenic Route'

Josh Duhamel ditches his pretty-boy persona for a Mohawk and a heavy layer of caked dirt in his gritty new movie Scenic Route, in theaters Friday, and we've got an exclusive clip from the indie film about two friends whose good-natured desert road trip turns takes a terrible turn.

PICS: Candid Celeb Sightings

In Scenic Route, Duhamel plays Mitchell, a young man who hits the road with his childhood buddy Carter (played by Dan Fogler) to play catch-up after having drifted apart over the years. When their old pickup breaks down on an isolated desert road, the stranded pals must endure the relentless elements and find a way to survive, soon turning on each other in a struggle that surprisingly becomes life-or-death.
