Bonham Carter plays the mysterious Miss Havisham, a fabulously wealthy spinster who, when she was young, was left at the alter by the conman she had fallen in love with. Never being able to move past this betrayal and embarrassment, she wears her wedding dress for the remainder of her life and becomes a recluse.

Bonham Carter knows how to play mentally disturbed, and she does it with such majestic ease in this new trailer.
