Paradise follows the journey of Lamb Mannheim (played by Hough), a devout Christian in a God-fearing Montana town who questions her faith after she's severely burned in a freak plane crash. Armed with a big insurance payout and "a checklist of untried sins," the naïve Lamb looks for answers in Las Vegas -- much to the chagrin of her parish and conservative parents, played by Holly Hunter and Nick Offerman -- where she meets a friendly Brit bartender (Brand) and cynical soul singer (Spencer) who teach her a thing or two about what it means to really live – and she does the same in return.
