Hugh Jackman further cemented his nice-guy image by throwing himself a party on Saturday to celebrate his 45th birthday and the star-studded bash -- during which he sang, danced and told stories -- also turned out to be a successful industry fundraiser!

Among those stopping by the benefit concert at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre to wish Jackman a happy birthday were Glee star Darren Criss, Jackman's Prisoners co-stars Maria Bello and Terrence Howard, as well as TV/film veteran Cybill Shepherd and The Newsroom actress Olivia Munn.

The X-Men star's "One Night Only" show for 4,500 guests raised $1.85 million for the Motion Picture & Television Fund, which provides health care and other services to entertainment-industry workers and retirees.

At the conclusion of the show, Jackman auctioned off several items including an electric Fiat, a pair of Wolverine claws and two sweaty undershirts he wore during the night's performance that sold for $11,000 each. "The auction itself raised far too much money for the things we were offering, which was like my sweaty undergarments and things like that," the Wolverine star joked. "But trust me, I'll do anything for the MPTF!"
