Whether it's Sylvester Stallone or Arnold Schwarzenegger who earns the distinction of being the ultimate action hero is a question for the ages, but the still-buff sexagenarians and their Escape Plan cast mates were all too happy to weigh in on the debate when we caught up with them at the red carpet premiere for their new prison film.
With a grin, Sly wasn’t shy to say it’d be "me" when asked who'd win in hand-to-hand combat between the action legends. "Without a doubt! It'd be a good [fight]."

Where Sly was sure in his assessment, his co-star was a bit fairer in his answer.
"We're very fortunate that we have a really good movie and that the fans are going to see firsthand who is the tougher guy when they watch the fight scene in the movie because we have a big fight scene there," said Arnold. "…it helped our performance because I was trying to outdo him and he was trying to outdo me in whatever we do. That's just the way it is and I think that it works really to our advantage."
Also a bit torn on which of the two has the best tough-guy status, co-star Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson recalled a moment on set that left him in awe.
"I thought I was the toughest guy on set, and then I saw Rambo," he remembered. "Then the Terminator walked by!"

In theaters October 18, Escape Plan casts Sly as "the world's foremost authority on structural security" for high-security prisons who finds himself faced with escaping from a high-tech, master prison. The former Governator Arnold plays "a complex inmate with multiple shades of grey" who fights to keep the prisoners from losing their humanity in their darkest hour as they struggle together to stay alive. With Sly double-crossed and a warden (Jim Caviezel) intent on keeping his inmates behind bars at all costs, can the two men work together to find a way out alive?
Directed by Mikael Håfström (1408), Escape Plan also stars Vinnie Jones, Vincent D'Onofrio and Amy Ryan.
