Break out the Hammer! Thor's second solo adventure, Marvel's Thor: The Dark World, lands in theaters November 8, and the stars of the film explain how this entry one-ups the original, how it was a real pleasure for the cast to reunite, and what it took for Chris Hemsworth to maintain the body of a god!
Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Kat Dennings, Rene Russo, Anthony Hopkins -- and yes, Tom Hiddleston as Loki -- are all back for the sequel, this time directed by Alan Taylor. In Thor: The Dark World finds the classic Marvel Comics character battling to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself -- an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith (played by Eccleston) looking to plunge the universe back into darkness. In order to defeat his powerful enemy, Thor must forge an alliance with the treacherous Loki to save the people he loves -- and the universe itself.
Marvel's Thor: The Dark World also stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano and Jaimie Alexander.
