In the dark comedic drama August: Osage County, based on the Tracy Letts' play of the same name, relatives come together to mourn the passing of the family patriarch. However, while tensions between family members surface on-screen, the actors playing those characters were having their own get-togethers off-screen that star Juliette Lewis was more than willing to chat to ET about!

Producers George Clooney and Grant Heslov hired an all-star cast to lead the film, including Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Ewan McGregor, Chris Cooper, Benedict Cumberbatch, Dermot Mulroney and Juliette Lewis.

The film was shot in Oklahoma, where the story takes place, and due to the location, the producers rented a number of adjoining condos for the actors to stay in during production. While shooting, some of the A-list actors suddenly became neighbors. So, who threw the best parties?!

"Literally [Dermot Mulroney] was my neighbor. Meryl Streep was across the street," Juliette, 40, revealed at the AFI Fest's gala screening of August: Osage County. "We lived in this little weird cul-de-sac with condos. So you would come out the door and be like 'Hi neighbor!' But we would go to Meryl's. She really threw some really groovy parties. Good food, nice drink and good conversation."

Celebrated actor Chris Cooper agreed, and reminisced fondly of the time spent with the cast and hanging out in Meryl's condo.

"We did a lot of potluck over at Meryl's," Cooper, 62, affirmed of the 64-year-old actress' hospitality. "It was midway between all the actors. It was about this time last year, so we were watching the presidential debates and Hurricane Sandy. ...It drew us together."
