Disney's Maleficent trailer debuted Wednesday morning, giving us our first look at Angelina Jolie in action as the Sleeping Beauty villain.

Unmistakably dark, Jolie is stunning -- and more than a little scary -- in our first look at the film, which is told from Maleficent's perspective and takes a look at the events that drove her to curse Princess Aurora (Elle Fanning).
