Terrence Howard got surprisingly candid during his recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live to promote his latest film, The Best Man Holiday, when he took thinly veiled jabs at his former Iron Man co-star Robert Downey, Jr.

When responding to viewers' questions about why he was replaced with Don Cheadle in the Iron Man franchise, Howard didn't hesitate to air his side of the story.

"This is gonna get me in a lot of trouble, but who gives a f*ck," Howard said. "It turns out that the person that I helped become 'Iron Man,' when it was time to re-up for the second one, took the money that was supposed to go to me and pushed me out."

Clearly he was referring to Downey, Jr., who he also claimed didn't return his calls for three months.

Howard originally played the role of James "Rhody" Rhodes in the first Iron Man, but left Iron Man 2 due to a salary dispute.

But though he certainly seems to have bad blood with Downey, Jr., Howard insisted he still has love for his former co-star.

"Oh, I love him," he said. "God's gonna bless him."
