"I guess [shooting Some Velvet Morning] was like a bullet, and [big Hollywood movies] are much, much more organic and slow," says Alice. "I think we felt very unrested by the end, very tired and wrung out."

In Some Velvet Morning, Tucci plays Fred, an older man who arrives at the doorstep of his beautiful young mistress Velvet after four years apart, claiming to have finally left his wife. When Velvet rejects his attempts to rekindle their romance, his persistence evolves into obsession -- and their shared dark history comes into focus.
