Based on the failed June 28, 2005 mission "Operation Red Wings," Lone Survivor follows four members of SEAL Team 10 on their mission to capture or kill notorious Taliban leader Ahmad Shahd. Ambushed by the enemy in the mountains of Afghanistan, they're faced with an impossible moral decision of whether or not to stay in the fight to the finish. Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch and Ben Foster play the other SEAL Team members, with Eric Bana also starring as the commander of the operation.
