Former Smallville star Michael Rosenbaum makes his feature writing-directing debut with the second-chances romantic comedy Back in the Day, also starring opposite Homeland beauty Morena Baccarin, and we have an exclusive clip from the film, out on VOD now and in movie theaters January 17.

Rosenbaum plays Jim Owens, an aspiring Hollywood actor whose only claim to fame is being the face of a series of insurance commercials. Disillusioned with his career path and bleak future as an actor, he decides to go back to his Indiana hometown to attend his high school reunion. There, he gets to relive his glory days with now-married pals, rekindles an old flame, and seeks a little revenge on his former high school principal -- all leaving Jim to wonder what could have been...
