Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. operative Clark Gregg always looks good in a suit... And in the upcoming romantic indie Brightest Star, he sports a sharp look as the head of an international corporate business who tries to steer who he thinks is the right type of guy (Chris Lowell of The Help, Private Practice) to date his daughter. Wouldn't it be nice if we all had a boss that treated us like he does in this exclusive clip from the movie? Watch!
In theaters and on iTunes January 31, Brightest Star follows a recent college grad (Lowell) who sets out to win back the girl of his dreams-- only to discover a greater journey awaits him. But is his plan to transform himself into the man he thinks she desires ultimately true to himself? Of course, his plans get complicated when he falls for a hipster songstress (Jessica Szohr) who likes him as he is, while a kindred-spirit astronomer (Allison Janney) helps him understand how to truly carve out a place in the universe.
Also starring Rose McIver, Peter Maloney and Peter Jacobson, Brightest Star marks the writing-directing debut of actress Maggie Kiley.
