The RoboCop remake starring Joel Kinnaman and Abbie Cornish is currently in theaters, and only ET has this amazing behind-the-scenes look at how the music for the highly anticipated film was made!
Featuring an original score composed by Pedro Bromfman, Bronfman blended acoustic and electronic instruments to make a "hybrid" just like the character of RoboCop.
"Like RoboCop himself, part man, part machine, the music needed to be a hybrid," he explains, also stressing that he wanted to pay homage to the original 1987 film.
"Although I've worked hard at creating an original, contemporary and cutting edge score, we wanted to pay homage to the original theme composed by Basil Poledouris … re-invented and re-orchestrated but full of presence and personality as it originally was."
