Today, Non-Stop star Liam Neeson is one of Hollywood's premiere action stars and he revealed to ET the very simple key as to what makes plane heist movies so intriguing.

"To start, you're 30,000 to 40,000 feet in the air -- that's quite scary enough," Neeson said with a smirk at the Non-Stop premiere on Monday. "Everybody's wondering how does that chunk of metal get up there?"

In theaters everywhere February 28, Non-Stop finds Neeson as Bill Marks, an air marshal whose transatlantic flight from New York to London is disrupted when he receives cryptic text messages demanding that the government transfer millions into an off-shore account -- or a passenger on the flight will be killed every 20 minutes.

The film also stars Oscar-nominated actresses Julianne Moore and Lupita Nyong'o.

"[Non-Stop] was a very different film from the last one I did," said 12 Years a Slave star Nyong'o. "I was really keen to do something different."

"I love this one," said Moore. "It really reminded me of those old-fashioned movies like The Towering Inferno ... I love those movies."
